Roseland Township is one of sixteen townships in Adams County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 431 at the 2020 census. The village of Roseland lies within the township. The township is part of the City of City of Lincoln, which has a population of 1.2 million. The city is located in the eastern part of Adams County and is located on the Nebraska Turnpike. The town's name is derived from the name of the town's first postmaster, John Roseland, who was killed in a car accident in 1881. It is located near the town of Pawnee, which is in the north of the county and is home to the city of Lincoln and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It has a total population of 431, according to the 2010 census, with the village ofRoseland lying within its borders. The county's total population is 431; the village's population is 1,071.
